NCS Game Notes
* The intro to the game recounts the closing days of WWII when the Russians were seen as a biger threat than the Nazis should they find the Nazi's atom bomb project. The player is dropped behind enemy lines under the guise of a German OSS trooper in a bid to stop the Russians. Use gunplay, close combat, trip wire skills, and of course, sniping action from afar to accomplish your objectives.

* The default sniper name is Karl Fairburne. We renamed him "Dead Eye." The first mission takes place in Karlshorst and starts with a training mission where tactical primers are taught such as surveying the surroundings before moving and moving from cover to cover since the enemy has their own snipers at work. Move with caution and stealth to drop the surprise on the enemy. Since you have a sniper rifle, there's no need to get too personal and close.

* A stealth meter shows how well camouflaged you are. If you're behind a wall, you're fairly well hidden but if you pass by a window, the enemy snipers can and will shoot at you almost immediately.

* The game advises snipers to "Aim slightly above the enemy to account for gravity." Additional hints and tips are offered as one explores the battlefield further.

* In Karlshorst, players go to meet an informant to obtain info and intel while a Russian and German battle group are in combat. Since you are disguised as a German, only Russians are your enemy. As the mission begins, the sniper is on his belly and crawls into a ruined city bombed out by ordnance. Screams and cries of agony permeate the locality.

* The left analog stick is used to move while the right analog is used to shift perspective. The "O" button changes from crouch to standing up to belly flop. Pushing in on the R thumbstick opens up the sniper scope for inspecting adjacent buildings and "R1" fires a shot.
