Based on the film of the same name, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe takes you to a land rife with fantastic creatures, both good and evil. With the help of four siblings, you must combat evil forces to free Narnia from a witch's spell.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe is a definitive action adventure based on the Walt Disney Pictures and Walden Media film capturing the renowned and beloved book series from author C.S. Lewis. Players enter the world of Narnia, a land frozen in eternal winter by the evil powers of the malevolent and evil White Witch. In order to end this frigid captivity and free his people, the mighty lion Aslan, true ruler of Narnia, invokes an ancient prophecy.

It will become the destiny of four young siblings from our world: Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy Pevensie to work together and use their unique combat skills, weaponry and abilities to defeat the Witch and her armies and save Narnia. These four unlikely heroes must battle the evil forces of the White Witch by waging war against a vast variety of creatures, including Centaurs, Minotaurs, Minoboars, Cyclops, Werewolves, Wraiths, Ankleslicers, Wolves, Satyrs, Boggles and more.

NCS Game Notes
* The intro starts with movie footage of planes on WWII bombing runs while artillery bursts from the ground shatter around them. A plane drops a load of bombs and the scene shifts to Edmund Pevensie as he watches the bombardment from a window. His mother grabs him and pulls him from the window. As this happens, the transition from cinematic footage to in-game graphics occurs and the first mission is to get all of the children out of the house and to safety.

* Once Susan and Lucy are found, the four children use their skills and abilities to lead the entire party out of the house. Since the lower levels are aflame, the children have to leave the house by going upwards and then maneuver to a safer area where they can go downstairs again to reunite with mummy. Once in the kitchen, Susan uses her flashlight to find a key which mum uses to open up the door. Everyone then leaves the house and the scene changes to film footage again where the children are sent on a train to the country where they live with Professor Kirke away from the bombing raids.

* The next scene is film footage of the children starting a game of hide 'n seek. As the kids run and hide, Lucy finds a room with a massive wardrobe. She enters and backs through a number of fur coats until she touches a snow covered tree. She turns around and glimpses Narnia...

* Edmund opens the wardrobe door looking for Lucy and the scene shifts to Lucy walking through a snowscape. After coming to a lamp post, she turns around and surprises a half man/half goat that is carrying a parcel and some other items. After introductions, the faun named Mr. Tumnus invites Lucy to tea but she declines and tells him that she'd better get back home. The game shifts back to a polygonal representation where Lucy and Edmund reunite and try to find a way out of the snowscape and back home.

* Lucy and Edmund can be a couple of pyros since there's a campfire in the center of the screen and brambles which can be set afire. There's also a large bundle of sticks which can be ignited by using a torch. After the two perform a team-up attack to break through the ice shards, a pack of wolves will attack them. Since Edmund has a stick, it proves to be a suitable weapon to beat back the animals.

* Eventually the two make their way back to the wardrobe and the game switches back to movie footage where the older brother and sister (Peter and Susan) tell Professor Kirke about what Lucy and Edmund have discovered in the wardrobe. Instead of denying it, the good professor tells the siblings to believe in what Lucy and Edmond have discovered.
