NCS Game Notes
* The intro to the game starts with an image of a bleached skull as a rider on a horse thunders through. A posse is on his tail and he turns around and fires a bullet at the lead instigator...

* In the next cinema, it's Coronado's Second Expedition in 1542 where a group of soldiers led by a priest are crossing a desert. A wind storm kicks up and indians emerge from the dust to chop the soldiers up. Axes and knives are used to eviscerate the men. As the savages surround the priest, he falls from his horse and is slashed open by an indian. His golden cross clatters to the ground immediately followed by a splattering of blood.

* Colton White introduces himself as a hunter in Montana 1880. He's sleeping with a hat over his eyes when his father Ned kicks him awake and tells him to "bite some jerky" and get his gear so they can get to work. They're hunting game and need to bag a bunch to earn their living. Ned spots an elk and shoots it dead as it tries to run away. He then points out some quail in the distance and tells Colton to shoot them for the cook on the Steamboat. A shooting game starts where the R1 trigger is tapped to shoot the fluttering quail while the R2 is pressed to enter a targeting mode. After killing about 10 quail, it's time to kill a few wolves. Then 2 elk. Then a whole lot of wolves that are scavenging the elk that were just killed. After all that animal killing, the two hunters return to the Steamboat to sell their game.

* The beginning of GUN is reminiscent of Cabela's Deadly Hunts where animals are shot with wild abandon. Colton can also damage creatures by pressing the SQUARE button for a side swinging slash attack.
