GAME FEATURES * Explore, solve puzzles, tackle rhythm challenges and above all make mischief! George always manages to cause trouble in the uniquely "reactive" 3D environments. * Unlock special mini-games film clips movie tunes and more. Loads of bonus content will keep you playing long after the main quest is solved. NCS Game Notes * In the intro to the game, George is trapped in a yellow subspace where he demonstrates the majesty of Dolby Logic. After that, the title screen appears where a cel-shaded George is shown in action sequences from the game where he performs feats of jumping and spinning success. * At the start of the game, Ted the explorerr looks through binoculars and spies a red ape statue that appears huge in the distance but pulls back to see that the statue isn't that big but a trinket sized paperweight. While lamenting against a tree, he looks up and sees that Curious George has taken his hat. He tells the friendly simian to keep it. The first mission has players controlling George and following Ted through the jungle. The little monkey hero will slide on zip lines, leap across vines ala Jungle King, and slide through downward slopes in an effort to chase Ted, who's being driven back to civilization in a car. George'll also climb vines and maneuver a massive lilypad downriver while avoiding rocks and whirlpools as they rush up. * During the first level, George may poke at beehives with his finger and not get stung. George is also capable of pushing an entire tree over to create a bridge. Throughout the game, George will make monkey noises that appear to have been sampled from a human interpreter. * The key to double jumping in the game is to hit the "X" button once for the first jump and then "X" again at the apex of the jump to double jump. If you press "X" later, George simply won't double jump and plummet to oblivion. * In town, George has to maneuver to the other side by hopping on villager's baskets which are perched on top of their heads. Some baskets have rotating bananas on them. If George should ever touch the ground while performing the village crossing, an irate woman poses like a peacock and yells out, "Back to the jungle with you!" or "Ha Ha! Got you!" or "You don't belong in the village" while George stands there like a student that's just been sassed by a teacher. As long as George is on top of a basket, he can't be caught even though he'll be assailed with verbal assaults such as "Shoo, Monkey" or "Get out!" or "Oh My! or "Ah! go away Monkey." * The R-analog controls the camera swivel but it has a low radius movement. It's to a point where it's useless.
