Update: January 18, 2006 ©NCSX▪ Hudson collects the original Famicom versions of Star Force, Star Solider, and Hector '97 in one Gameboy Advance cartridge. All three shooters are of the vertical type where a lone ship takes on waves of whizzing enemy ships and the occasional boss. In the case of Hector '87, the designers mixed vertical and horizontal levels together for a shmup mash-up. To help lone fighter pilots conquer squadrons of enemies, power-ups may be picked up along the way to enhance shot power as well as ship speed to swerve around the levels and enemy ships.Star Force Fly over floating land masses situated in space and battle flitting objects and pick up ship bolt-on-attachments which enhance firing strength. Star Soldier Rocket through the darkness of space and blast away at swarms of odd ships which dart around the screen like schools of manic fish. Thanks to default weaponry which shoots in 5 directions at once in front and towards the rear of your swift attacker, entire waves of enemy armor are destroyed with nary a blink. '87 to comprise Shooting Collection. Hector '87 A vertical shooter where a ship with a power bar rises through the ether of space and battles streams of oncoming attackers. Use shots to take out airborne riders while bombs take out ground targets below. When power-ups appear, pick them up to increase the strength of ship's shot power.
