To this end, Nintendo exploits the Mario Party franchise once more in a GBA version of their popular series. Mario and crew join together for a rousing good time in mini-games such as fishing, balancing on top of Koopa Troopers, running 'n jumping, shooting, and other tried and true themes that are well suited to short and sweet interactions. New to the format is the introduction of Professor E. Gadd's special Gaddgets which are little tools and tricks that add to the interaction.
