Digidrive deals with traffic and the age old dilemma of where to put all those vehicles. As an omnipresent traffic monitor of sorts, players erect instantaneous barriers to direct streams of "cars" to their respective end lanes. » The play board consists of a busy street where vehicles stream to and fro. As the traffic controller, throw up dividers to direct traffic north, south, east, or west into their respective lanes. At the outset, only two types of cars need to be diverted to their respective parking spaces one in back of the other until at least five of them are collected together As the volume of traffic grows, more types of cars enter the area which increases the challenge. Since traffic streams in from all directions, the divider bar is shifted around in rapid fashion to guide the flow of traffic in continuous action. An example of traffic directing follows:

NORTH White triangle vehicle
EAST White plug vehicle
SOUTH Black vehicle
WEST Red vehicle

» Early streets are straightforward but later levels get more difficult as the speed of the traffic ramps up and other variables affect the flow of traffic. To see which color car goes where, a marker is located in the cardinal direction with the color inside a triangle which slowly fills up as cars are parked. When a wrong color car goes into the wrong lot, the whole shebang stops and a problem occurs on the right side of the screen.

» In the menu screen, gamers may select from six skin styles. We recommend against using the Onyx Black skin unless you enjoy confusing visual style. Standard Digistyle skin or the Platinum skin are fine. Music Selections include Chiasma, Bloog, or Silence. There's a Random toggle as well.

» Only the D-pad is used to throw up barriers which guide traffic onto four cardinal areas of a highway parking system. The goal is to move vehicles of the same type into their own lanes. Creating vehicle matches increases the height of the wheel on the right side of the screen. If you botch up the vehicle management, a crusher on an arm rises up. If it touches your wheel, the game ends.
