«©NCSX» Part of the Mario 20th Anniversary celebration this week, Nintendo crams updated versions of Dr. Mario and Panel de Pon into one Gameboy cartridge. In Dr. Mario, viruses are on the loose and multiplying as each level is conquered. To remedy the infestation, colored pills are falling in single-serve does and Dr Mario has to arrange them so that they lie in contiguous colored lines of four vertically or horizontally. Once set, the viruses pop from the screen and disappear. As higher levels are tackled, more viruses are in play and the colored pills fall downwards faster. In Panel de Pon, rows of stars, hearts, triangles, and circles encased in colored blocks are rising upwards and one must use a cursor to swap the blocks horizontally so that at least three of the same type are touching each other.
