«©NCSX» To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Famicom console which throned Nintendo as king of video games back in the day, a Famicom GBA SP variant and ten classic Famicom games are re-released for the GBA in the early part of 2004. A portly plumber with a bushy mustache takes on a mighty ape in a classic from 1981. In the first of four levels, Mario rushes up a series of girders and ladders to get to his beloved in a pink dress. To attempt to deter the portly plumber, the mighty Donkey Kong slides and shoves barrels down the screen in incessant fashion. In the second level, Mario maneuvers himself through a couple of lifts, flame creatures and a series of fast moving bolts at the top of the screen. There's one level where Mario removes a series of plugs from a construction. Once all of the plugs are gone, all of the girders fall down, followed by Donkey Kong who plunges headfirst.
