«©NCSX» The original Ganbare Goemon bears little resemblance to the spiky-haired ninja of today. The fellow in the original Goemon game had a very routine haircut which was akin to a loaf of bread atop his head. Similar to other Goemon games, our hero roams around town, harasses the townfolk and barges into shops to purchase goods and power-ups. When exploring a town, leaping around randomly may uncover hidden stairs which lead to dungeon-like areas and mazes. Goemon may pick up various bonuses during these sojourns.
