Update: November 18, 2005 «©NCSX» Everything old is new again when the first two Pokemon games are revamped and re-released again, enhanced with GBA shininess. The year was 1996 when the original Pokemon Red and Green games debuted in Japan and made a mighty splash. Although enjoyable, the graphics were simplistic and monochromatic. Less than a month into 2004, Nintendo splashes color onto the two classic Pokemon games and bundles a wireless adapter which links up to 5 players in your local area. Engage in head-to-head Pokebattles, trade data and talk to pals by way of Pokelinkage. Upon starting the game, players walk through a set of instructions which detail the functions of the GBA buttons and meet the Pokemon professor. A male or female protagonist may be chosen at the outset and a rival is thrown into the mix. Before leaving town and venturing forth, players meet the professor at the laboratory and choose one of three possible Pokemon (Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle) to join them in their travels. Pokemon data may be exchanged with Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire while the game will also link with Pokemon Colosseum on the Gamecube. The wireless adapter is small and fits with the cart inside normal packaging. View the back cover. Jan Code: 4902370512694 This document is ©NCSX 2005. All rights reserved.
