One of the first monsters that trainers obtain in Pokemon Ruby or Sapphire is Torchic, the fire Pokemon which burns with inner flame and evolves into Combusken after leveling up to 16 and then powers up to Blaziken at level 36. Nintendo commemorates stellar sales of the latest Pokemon games by issuing a dark-orange GBA SP variant which is limited to only 2000 units and sold exclusively through the Pokemon Center in Japan. We were able to snag 1/20 of the production through various agents. With such a small production quantity, we figure that a lime-green Mudkip and a light-blue Treecko GBA SP model are also in the cards for this year.

| I bought this one when it was $199 from NCS. Then Pokemon Center in New York had it for sale for $99 but they sold out before I could get a second one for my collection. That's my fault for being crazy about collecting GBAs because I have to have it when it first comes out. I don't collect anything else so I spend my money on video games and special versions of games and cool GBAs. I like the orange color also and it's so cool with the little Torchic on the lid. |

| This is by far the coolest sp i own. When i saw it on the site i knew that i had to have it. For two reasons, Reason one is orange is my favorite color and reason two is i love pokemon. When i got it in the mail i opened the box and at first i was confused because i did not see a torchic on the lid of the sp. I thought perhaps it was a sticker that i had to put on so i looked threw the box. but no sticker was found. Then i thought that perhaps i got one that misprint. But then low and behold the light hit the lid just right and there it was. The torchic on the top is the coolest part. I showed all my friends and they were all very impressed and they don't impress easy. So in conclusion this is a very cool sp if you do or don't love pokemon because you wont see the torchic on lid half the time any way. |

| I bought the GBA Torchic when it was first released and I love the new color that no one else in my school has but the little Torchic piece on the case scratches easy. I scuffed it when I put it down on my desk so I am going to be more careful. This is just a warning to anyone who wants to keep the Torchic piece scuff free. |
