«©NCSX» Bandai issues a new set of Dead or Alive Extreme Beach Volleyball capsule figures in the dead of winter. The set includes six girls - Ayane, Christie, Helena, Kasumi, Leifang and a "secret" edition Hitomi who wears an outfit of revealing bikini floss. NCS supplies the figures in complete sets of six - which include the secret Hitomi figure.The DOA girls measure approximately 4" from the crown of their heads to the soles of their feet. Just in case you're wondering, Ayane's pink tank top reads "Sweet Heart" with the letters circled by stars. Update: February 04, 2004.
About a month after selling out of the DOA Beach Volleyball capsule toys, NCS restocks the girls once again. Actually, they arrived a few days ago and most backorders have shipped already. New orders are welcome today. After inspecting the figures thoroughly, our conclusion is that Lei-Fang should have just been naked. She wears a skimpy V-shaped ribbon which barely hides anything and she lets it all hang. Ayane is much more modest, in her grandma-style bloomers while Hitomi gives Lei-Fang a run for her money with a dental floss two-piece. A photo gallery is available today as linked below. Each figure measures approximately 4" tall and a bit of construction is required to put them together when they're popped out fresh from the capsule containers. A blue transparent base is included with each girl for display purposes. Please note that there are tan and white versions of each girl.
