«©NCSX» Sony recently dropped the price of the Playstation 3 hardware by US$100 and gave potential buyers a compelling reason to shuffle off the fence and finally open up their wallets for a PS3. It's not just a PS3 though. It's also a Blu-Ray player as well as a DVD player so buyers can kill three birds with one stone... and get rid of the clunky off-brand DVD player that was purchased a few years ago at Wally Mart. Along with the price drop, Sony also introduces a new and slimmer version of the PS3 console hardware which is flatter and tablet-esque in shape. The flat surface is conducive to nifty artwork and/or designs whenever Sony decides to release a limited edition variant. We think Final Fantasy XIV will probably get a snazzy PS3 console with pretty etchings on top.
