Update: March 16, 2005
«©NCSX» More music and frantic rhythm action kicks off the third Donkey Konga game which is based on the popular Taiko no Tatsujin series from Namco. Tracks in the new DK3 include Ai Otsuka's "Happy Days," "Gundam Seed Destiny OP," "Naruto OP," "Cha-La Head-Cha-La," "Donkey's Groove," and many more for a total of 50 songs. Newcomer Funky Kong joins the usual crew of bongo beaters such as Donkey and Diddy. Four new mini-games are featured in DK3 including one where Donkey Kong is launched from a cannon onto distant palm trees bearing bananas. Hit a tree accurately and enjoy a rain of bananas. In another mini-game, the Kongs nurture a growing banana tree by playing well. Endure through the rhythm action and the tree grows taller and blooms ever more bananas for bonus points.

Eastman (1): Another must-have for anime/J-pop fans!
Donkey Konga 3 is another excellent instalment of the Donkey Konga series. You basically get lots more songs for a total of 50 new selections. If you like Japanese music at all, you should pick up each Japanese Donkey Konga release – the music is almost entirely different from the US versions, and quite awesome. Check out my menu & song translations at gamefaqs.com .
Slave (5): Donkey Konga 3
Great game! Just got it today. Played with my girlfriend all evening, good selection of songs. The only Down sides of this games are: menus hard to navigate... I cant understand Japanese (but Menu translatio can be found on the web) and the main problem is if we use a freeloader, we cannot save data; coins, unlockables and scores cant be loaded back :( Same problem as Donkey Konga 1 & 2 import. The only way to save is to play on a Jap Gamecube. But still, you starts off with 38 cool songs, and if you really want to check the other songs; Cheat Codes are available on the web (infinite money to buy all the songs). Still is a great game! And it's really nice to have foreign songs for a change :-D
