«©NCSX» Zoids arena battles return to the Gamecube with Tomy's second fighting game based on the popular franchise. Over 100 Zoids mecha (Hell Cat, Desert Liger, five Blade Liger variants, Salamander, Ultra Zaurus and many, many more) may be chosen and unlocked to act as your onscreen fighting machine. Customization may also be performed to upgrade and enhance your Zoids beasts with higher caliber weaponry, chassis or tricked out parts. New Zoids types include mecha which are capable of gliding a fair amount of distance to cross great divides between targets. A Versus Mode (what else?) features a ring-out rule where bruisers may be knocked out of the ring by furious blows. Versus Mode pits two fighters on a somewhat small fighting ring which limits the amount of hit 'n run strategies that one may employ. Zoids and characters from Zoids Saga, Zoids Saga 2, Zoids Versus, etc may be unlocked in Mission or Battle mode to use as your fighter. A Mission Mode places the player on the side of the Republic or the Empire where one rushes into strike missions against the opposition. Missions range from tasks of mass destruction and sniper jobs to providing escort and protection services for transport ships moving through hostile territory. » The limited edition of Zoids Versus 2 includes an exclusive Desert Liger Zoids figure. » Every order for the limited edition of Zoids Versus 2 will include a posable Hellcat toy as pictured below. The model must be snapped together from parts and a small rudimentary motor is included for putting the Hellcat in motion. Three items are included in the bonus packaging: A tiny wind-up motor which makes Hellcat walk, a bag containing decals and rotors, and another bag containing the actual snap-on parts.
