Update: August 8, 2003 «©NCSX» In the world of FF Crystal Chronicles, a powerful crystal wards off a destructive wafting force called Shouki but it's power has begun to wane. To restore the crystal to shiny might every year, a Crystal Caravan of adventurers is summoned to search for Milra's Dew which will replenish the crystal's power and purify it. Without the crystal operating at full power, the Shouki would swiftly overcome the land and kill all inhabitants. The annual ritual to find Milra's Dew begins anew at the outset of FFCC and a quartet of heroes stake out to find the precious dew. Up to four players may cooperate in the game by using Gameboy Advance units to control their respective characters. The screen of each GBA serves as a character stats display and relays game infomation to each player. When playing in multi-player mode, puzzles and challenges in the game require a team effort to progress further. To help the multi-player fun, a Gamecube to GBA link cable is included inside every copy of FFCC. During a multi-player adventure, one player hefts a Crystal Cage which wards off the Shouki force which wafts around like an ephemeral mist. Characters who step outside the boundary of protection afforded by the Crystal Cage will suffer the effects of the deleterious Shouki so it's best to stick close to your crew. In a one-player game, an AI-controlled Moogle lifts the Crystal Cage to erect a protective perimeter around your character. To spice up your life, the Moogle-servant-baggage-clerk may be customized and colored to your liking. Jan Code: 4902370506631 View larger photos for this item on the main NCSX website.
