«©NCSX» Mario and a few friends step onto the dancing stage and redefine the DDR franchise in their own image. In Story Mode, the Mushroom Kingdom takes center stage with its trademark pastel colored landscapes and a fairly innocuous storyline where a vandal has absconded Music Keys and unleashed their tones. The rampant tones are causing all manner of trouble and its up to Mario to retrieve the Music Keys to capture their rampant tones once more. Instead of leaping across chasms and confronting Goombas to locate the Keys, Mario's mission is dancing by following the cues on screen to energize Mario. Songs include Mozart's Eine Kleine Nachtmusik and peppy renditions of Mario theme music from Super Mario Bros, Mario Kart, Doctor Mario, Wario World, and more for a total of 25 tunes. A bevy of mini-games may also be enjoyed which include a banana catching exercise, Whack a Goomba, and others. Every copy of the game includes an official Konami DDR dancing pad controller. Someone has stolen the Music Keys and released the music they held. Without the Music Keys, the unstable power of the music is wreaking havoc on the land. In Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix, players clear levels by performing the correct steps. Once they clear all the levels in a particular world, they’ll collect a Music Key. Collect all the Music Keys to win. Special Features
Players control Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix by stepping on different arrows on the Action Pad (included with game). Players can finally experience the thrill of stomping Goombas and other enemies firsthand. As players clear songs, they will unlock more songs, minigames and difficulty levels.
