With the Tigers clinching the Central League pennant by beating the Hiroshima Carp, Nintendo issues the special limited edition Tigers Gamecube to celebrate the win. Guess the curse of the colonel since 1985's championship win has been banished. In 1985, after the Tigers' last win, frenzied fans threw a standee of Colonel Sanders (Yes, the KFC guy) into Dotonbori River. Since that injustice, the Tigers have never won a pennant...until this past month.
