A multi-use cable with four plugs on the console end which supports all of the following consoles: Dreamcast, Playstation, Playstation 2, NES, Super NES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, and XBox. Note that only the new style 8-Bit NES or FC is compatible with this cable. On the TV end, the cable supports composite AV and S-Video along with L + R audio plugs.

| I bought this cable to hook up my Dreamcast, Gamecube, PS2, and XBOX.
All the connectors on this cable are gold-plated from end-to-end; so they are a step up from the cheap, crappy stock cables that you would normally get included with most videogame consoles.
After I hooked up all my consoles with this cable and tried out various games with it, I can't help but immediately notice that the picture and sound quality was improved.
While the difference was not HUGE, it definantely is noticeable.
The sprites and onscreen text appeared sharper.
Most noticeably was the the colors; for they were more vibrant but didn't bleed quite as much like they used to.
And the sound was a bit more louder and clearer than before.
What really suprised me, was that even with all these different consoles hooked up at the same time; there was no noticeable distortion or signal loss.
This is DEFINATELY a must-buy for any gamer who owns multiple consoles, or for anybody who wants both convienence and more quality out of their favorite videogames without spending a big bunch of money on lots of expensive cables.
Also, note that there are currently not too many universal cables out there that support Dreamcast! |
