Adopt a wee wind-up mechanical puppy and call it your pet. Originally imported from Japan in August 2000, NCS lost track of the Geardog during an extremely busy season in the fall of Y2K. Three years after the arrival of the pups, NCS unearths a large number of Geardog toys in our inventory and posts them on our humble shop to...er, get rid of them at below cost. Let's face it, we have literally tons of toys in stock and moving every little bit to new owners (that would be you) helps, especially when cartons upon cartons of new imports arrive every week. Essentially a wind-up toy, Geardog sports a little knob on it's side which one may twist for a few revolutions. Release and watch in amazement as Geardog pumps up and down on it's front legs and moves it's mouth. The sound of the internal motor makes it seem as if Geardog is barking and the movement of it's mouth helps the illusion. Floppy ears also swing to and fro as Geardog romps on your table. Each pup measures roughly 2" from nose to rump. Please note that NCS holds assorted Geardog colors in our inventory - the majority of colors being the silver model shown on the left of the photo and the silver-purple version on the right. Usage Update
Please do not overwind the winding mechanism for the Geardogs as this may damage the winding mechanism. Two twists of the winding mechanism is more than sufficient to activate the gear dog; any more and the winding mechanism may be damaged.
