You'll need one VMS and possibly more to save your data and derive full enjoyment from games such as Phantasy Star Online and Power Stone 2. A Visual Memory Unit is also required in order to store the mini games that may be downloaded from from the internet or from software titles. Now that the Dreamcast is a couple of years young, a fairly good assortment of demos and samples are available on the internet for download to the VMU/VMS.
