«©NCSX» Developer Treasure turns their attention to Bleach and produces a tightly knit 2D fighting game which chops on two planes of play. Attack with a normal slash, a strong slash, guard against blows, and hop between arena layers by tapping the L-trigger. Soul Society Captains may also hop by pushing up on the D-pad or hop higher by double tapping. The fighting action is viewed on the top DS screen while special attacks and item usage may be triggered by tapping applicable selections on the lower DS screen. In the Story mode, the 13 Shinigami captains face off against each other while the VS mode features a total of 18 fighters. Up to four Wi-Fi connected NDS gamers may link up and engage in soul cleaving combat. When fighting, multiple players view the zooming action as the slickly executed camera pulls out and pans in on the frenzied fighting on screen.
