Update: June 29, 2006 «©NCSX» Soma Cruz, decked out in a swishy white couture trench coat, returns to the vampire killing fold after the events of Aria of Sorrow. A secretive cabal seeks to revive the Lord of Vampires and Soma must venture into dank dungeons and dark castles to stop the rise of the mighty blood sucker. Along the way, special weapons may be hefted, powerful magical attacks meted, and the DS stylus is used to destroy crystal walls and scribble enchantments in the form of sigils. Soma's moves consist of slashing attacks, magical blows, and a double jump which may be used to scale heights or avoid flying malcontents. A dash move allows Soma to retreat from danger or scoot underneath obstacles. Soma's arsenal of weapons is impressive but the man himself is also capable of changeling abilities where he transforms into a bat or a crusading valkyrie with shield and sword. The lower DS screen accommodates all of the scrolling platform high jinks while the upper screen keeps track of Soma's movements on a map and stats. Creatures to be encountered in the game include a spidery 4-armed cadaver, fire-breathing automatons, a colossus who fills up the entire screen when prone, skeletal serpents, a dinosaur-esque beast, and a monster that appears to be inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft. Also known as Akumajou Dracula: Aoitsuki no Juujika. Alternate SKU: RY005-J2 JAN Code: 4988602129977 View the back cover and screenshots. This document is ©NCSX 2006. All rights reserved.
