©NCSX▪ Lest anyone ever accuse Tamagotchi of being shiftless and lazy, know that the little monster is capable of handling the operations of a small shop. Upon starting the game, one of three Tamagotchi blobs named Kuchipatchi, Mametchi, or Memetchi may be selected as the onscreen entrepreneur and it's off to the cutthroat world of mom 'n pop shops and small business. It's possible to set up a beauty salon, a dental practice, a bakery, or a flower shop out of 10 possible businesses.

Once the customers start rolling in, their satisfaction is achieved by performing well in mini-games which mimic a specialty service such as decorating a cake, applying make-up, arranging flowers, or cleaning teeth. The ultimate goal is to become popular and famous enough to attract the eye of Princess Tamako, a prized patron capable of making or breaking a business.
