Update: January 19, 2007
«©NCSX» As evidenced by mishaps on the American Idol television program, there's a serious problem when it comes to tone deaf participants with possible delusions of grandeur. While Success' Tenihira Zettai Onkan Training software won't banish the delusions, it may improve the ability of aspiring singers to recognize relative pitch.

Targeted at children but useful for adults as well, Tenohira Zettai serves up training exercises on chords, musical scales, and recognizing chord progressions. In an early exercise, three keyboards are shown on screen and a chord is played. The player has to listen carefully and tap on the keyboard (with highlighted keys) that played the chord. In addition to the music training, a series of simple mini-games are included to test your rhythm skills and hand-eye coordination.

This item is also known as "Perfect Pitch Training DS."

NCS Game Notes
» Some exercises in the game are described below:

1) Listen to a chord while staring at three keyboards on screen. Listen and then tap on the keyboard that indicates the pitch of the tone that was just heard.

2) The mascot beetle of Tenohira Zettai beats upon the top of a soda can. First the game shows the tapping rhythm which are marked by a string of circles on screen. Once that's over, it's your turn to tap in time to the cues on screen as the light in the line moves from left to right. As the light hits each circle, tap the touch screen in perfect unison. Hit all the cues properly and you earn 100% and unlock the next exercise in a field of six exercises on the first screen.

3) The next three exercises on the first screen switches the soda can with a coffee cup which sounds entirely different when the drumsticks are beating down. Much more difficult with close-knit tapping tics.
