Update: November 16, 2005 «©NCSX» NCS Synopsis: Discover your inner Pokemon by answering the questions in the beginning of the game and find out which monster you'll incarnate as. Once the game starts, players awaken as a particular Pokemon and join a sort of disaster relief crew which takes on missions and travels the world to help fellow Pokemon that require aid and rescue. Nintendo eschews the trainers of Pokemon past and place Pokemon in control of their own destinies. Following the format of Chunsoft's Mysterious Dungeon games, players control a Pokemon such as Charmander or Torchic and roam around a world that is viewed from an overhead perspective. Bump into an enemy and begin a battle right there and then. Attacks are selected from an onscreen menu with the stylus or triggered by pressing the top L-trigger and A. In the NDS version of the game, players may elect to use the NDS touch screen control scheme or toggle over to the stylus-free GBA control scheme. The top NDS screen shows the Pokemon in the party while the lower NDS screen features all of the world exploration and adventuring. Over 380 Pokemon are featured in the game and data exchange may be performed with the Gameboy Advance version of Pokemon Fushigi na Dungeon. View the back cover and screenshots on the main NCSX site.
NCS Game Notes™ * There is a save glitch in the NDS version of Pokemon Fushigi na Dungeon: Aoi no Kyuujotai which can erase data on a Gameboy Advance cartridge that is inserted into the NDS while playing. Solution? Make sure there are no GBA games inserted into the NDS while playing. Please note that it's okay to insert the GBA version of Pokemon Fushigi na Dungeon: Aoi no Kyuujotai into the NDS since the save glitch does not affect that game.
