«©NCSX» Rosy cheeked, bulbous-nosed, and adorned with a bread head filled with red bean curd, Anpanman is a remarkable hero. The bread wonder came about when two bakers attempted to make living bread. Their efforts would have been fruitless were it not for a star of life that streaked out from the cosmos and passed over the bakery. As the dough in the oven rose, a cry also arose from the oven and two doting bakers soon welcomed Anpanman into the world. In the NDS game, player take control of Anpanman and feed the hungry while battling the machinations of Baikinman, his archenemy. Cheese, the super-watchdog provides backup support while Uncle Jam and Batako serve up helpings of new anpan heads, advice and encouragement. Anpanman's friends are also featured in the game: Currypanman and Shokupanman. Along with the main adventure, mini-games which features with voice samples of the popular characters are also playable for a bit of Anpanman variety.
