Description
Update: November 2, 2007
«©NCSX» The date is August 10, 2010 and invading mechs known as Knightmare Frames from the Holy Britannia Empire have destroyed and taken over Japan. The citizenry is rounded up and forced into slums known as Area 11 and the oppressed are called "Elevens." As a result of the injustice, rebel forces rise up to regain Japan with small scale terrorist attacks. During one such rebel strike, the Queen of Britannia is killed and the Princess is blinded. Amidst the strife, an unlikely hero from Britannia named Prince Lelouch Lamperouge sides against his own country after witnessing what Britannia's actions have wrought. To help his cause, he obtains the awesome power of Geass from a girl named C.C. which allows him to control the actions of others. This power is shown at the outset of the game where an enemy agent is compelled to shoot himself in the head.

Once the proper game starts, Karen Stadtfeld is inside the ruined area of Area 11 where movement is controlled by way of the D-pad or by tapping the stylus on a target location on the touch screen. Move northwards and an automatic encounter is triggered against a Britannia air sentry. A short tutorial follows which explains the functions shown on the touch screen as well as the Battle Time Sequence bar at the top of the screen. Four commands may be chosen on the touch screen as follows: Attack, Skill, Item, and Escape. To ignite a barrage against an enemy mech, tap on the Attack button and drag the button that appears onto the target enemy's icon on the right side of the screen. Karen's mech will thrust forwards and deal damage to the gunship on the right of the screen. Whenever an attack is selected, the animated action sequence is depicted on the top NDS screen.

After the encounter, Karen will level up and be allowed to resume her exploration of Area 11. The next encounter pits Karen against two Knightmare Frames that'll perform tag-team attacks. After the second encounter, Karen will level up again. Head north and you'll walk along train tracks. There's a couple of repair kits to be found and a random encounter to wade through before reaching a contingent of Knightmare Frames led by Jeremiah Gottwald. Karen's no match for the brute power of Jeremiah's Knightmare Frame and just when it looks like it's all over, Lelouch throttles into the battlefield and helps Karen roust Jeremiah before skating off on their mechs. Both heroes will level up after the encounter.

The first save-point appears after about an hour into the game and a total of six save-slots are available to store your progress.

Bonus Schwag
All preorders will ship with a bonus Code Geass CD as shown above. While supplies last, we'll include them with new orders.
