Update: March 23, 2006 «©NCSX» You are a strapping young man (or woman) who has the potential to accomplish great things. You also have the propensity for helping others. The Ranger Leader who patrols Ring Town sees this in you. With such beaming qualities, you are recruited into the ranks of the Pokemon Rangers. As a newly minted PR, you amble across the land of Fiore in search of hapless citizens or situations in need of a hand. You won't have to go it alone on the job since Pokemon may be forced to temporarily join your little law enforcement operation and help out. To add conflict and toil to the world, a gang of malcontents known as Team Go-Go raise a ruckus and they'll need to be contained. Capturing Pokemon makes use of the stylus where a little Beyblade-like tool called a Capture Styler is used to circle a beast a designated amount of times to hold it in your thrall. Once a Pokemon is reined in, it'll use its power to do your bidding against adversity. Upon starting the game, a training mission teaches the basics of capturing a Mudkip and then using it to douse a small forest fire. Once you have some experience under your belt, the first proper mission charges you with escorting a traveler from Ring Town to Fall City. The next few sub missions take place within Fall City where you help citizens with mundane jobs. In the third mission, five lost Skittys must be located and return to their owner.
