Description
Update: April 20, 2006
«©NCSX» Syaoran and Sakura are joined by the supporting cast members of Tsubasa Chronicle in an original card battling adventure game where janken (rock, scissors, paper) serves as the basis of battle. As the heroes gain experience, new abilities and powers are added to their janken repertoire for more efficient combat skills. A few new characters are introduced in the adventure for added dramatic foil and interaction.

To add some variety to the Tsubasa overview, a baking mini-game may be enjoyed where ingredients are mixed together and then crafted into confections, cakes, and other sweets. Customers place their orders and you bake their desires. For example, a cheesecake may be created by mixing sugar, dairy, and cream and then baked for a certain amount of time.

NCS Game Notes
» The card battling is presented with exciting animated cut scenes where the two opponents throw cards while frenetic music blasts in the background. The first match is against an amicable maiden (she's pictured in the photo below in the maid's outfit) who takes her defeat in stride and joins the party afterwards along with her maid friends.

» The second battle is against a pink-haired maiden and the third is a demonic creature with a tail. After defeating the two, every member of your party gains at least 2 levels. The maids who joined earlier gain about 4 levels each.

» When two opponents throw out the same hand, they'll cancel each other out. Since the battles are random, they can become long and drawn out and we had a few contests that lasted for 12 rounds.

» Developer Arika skimped on the voice talent for this game for the most part. The character dialogue boxes are accompanied not by spoken speech but by a high pitched gibberish that is meant to approximate the sound quality of vocals. There are some samples of voice acting that play during match victory sequences and intermissions.
