«©NCSX» After suffering defeat after defeat, a devious new leader takes over at the helm of the Black Hole Army and sends more dogs of war into the cities of Wars World. Once again, the armies of Blue Moon, Green Earth, Orange Star, and Yellow Comet rise up to meet the threat and beat back the aggression. Utilizing both screens of the NDS, Famicom Wars DS places maps, reference info, and aerial battles on the top screen while the majority of the actual gameplay and tactical strategy takes place on the lower screen. Familiar COs from the first two Advance Wars games return to the battlefield along with nine new COs scattered across the four allied armies. A new Battle Mode in the game features realtime battles where the player takes command of a squad and goes against waves of enemy armies. View the back cover and screenshots.
