Update: March 22, 2006 «©NCSX» Jigsaw puzzles originated in Europe sometime in the mid 1700s when mapmakers laid maps over mats of wood and carved them into little pieces that interlocked with one another. What was once wood is now virtual, with jigsaw puzzles existing inside the confines of the NDS dual screen. Use the stylus to move jigsaw puzzle pieces and fit them onto a board. In addition to standard format jigsaw puzzles, the player may also assemble parts of national flags, street signs, and the human body to their proper places - for example, in the human body puzzle, the heart, lungs, intestines, and other organs must be arranged in their correct locations. Standard jigsaw puzzle themes include a cat, bumblebee sketch, animated Bomberman, the Statue of Liberty, a sunflower, a panda, Earth as viewed from space, and many more. The difficulty of different puzzles varies by the number of pieces that they're made up of - simple puzzles are 30 pieces, intermediate puzzles contain 56 pieces, and difficult puzzles take up 120 pieces.
