«©NCSX» The Puyo Puyo franchise has been around since 1991 and we've watched the progression of the series through the years. Our first exposure to the game was the Famicom version followed by the MegaDrive edition and renditions on the Playstation consoles and pretty much every platform in existence. The latest game in the franchise ships this week under the guise of Puyo Puyo 7 which features Wi-Fi functionality for 4-player competitive action. When a 4-player game proceeds, everyone's NDS screens will show all four players' boards and their progress. For example, the player's board is position on the left side of the touch screen while player #2 will be right next to it. On the top screen, players #3 and #4 will also be shown in split-screen.
