Update: April 3, 2008 «©NCSX» When the good professor Hiroshi Agasa is kidnapped, super-sleuth Kudo Shinichi is charged with his rescue. However, the half-pint detective won't have to dodge bullets or wrestle with henchmen to do it. All Shinichi has to do is flip open his Nintendo DS and spot the differences between multiple pairs of images. For example, the top NDS screen may show a static scene with Ran Mori, Shinichi, and Genta Kojima at a river. The touch screen shows a near identical image but there are some differences such as the pail that Shinichi's holding, Genta's shirt, and the additional presence of Mitsuhiko Tsuburaya. Your job is to circle the difference within a 10-second time limit to proceed to the next challenge. Region-Free Japanese NDS games may be played on North American and European NDS handhelds. There is no region-coding on Nintendo DS game cards. Jan Code: 4582224492039 View the back cover and screenshots on the main NCSX website.
NCS Game Notes » Most of the puzzles are simple to figure out. The really easy ones feature a person that's not in the top photo or a totally different person. Those are painfully obvious and there's too many of them in the first floor of the game, in our opinion. » An example of a difficult puzzle is in the first section of the tower where the length of a telephone cord is the difference. » Each floor of the tower contains four sections which must be solved before going to the SP section of the floor. The SP section's puzzles are initially obscured by a person who must be whisked away by swishing the stylus over him or her. Once the person drops from view, you have a limited amount of time to discern the difference in the images. » The end of the fourth floor is guarded by a Boss stage where five differences must be discerned within 30 seconds. The image on the touch screen is obscured by wavering black spaces. » The second floor contains images that feature much more subtle differences such as buttons, type of hair braid, or an extraneous sub character. Some of the images are obscured by people similar to the SP levels on the first floor who must be swished away to reveal the image behind them. » The SP stages on the second floor are blocked by a covering that must be wiped away with the stylus before the image is revealed. » In the Boss level on the second floor, a little eraser hovers over the image and erases your circular scribbles. What you'll have to do is circle the five differences quickly before the eraser rushes over to your scribbling and erases your circle. This document is ©NCSX 2008. All rights reserved.
