Update: Sept 15, 2005 We currently use a Pac Pix stylus when playing Jump Superstars or the recent Tamagotchi game but it's easy to see how a retractable metal stylus would come in handy. For one, metal is durable and less apt to bend or break when one cannot resist the urge to snap something. Like the time when a beautifully played level suddenly turned against you. Or the time when you tripped over the power cord. That was connected to the Xbox. Which quickly came crashing down and split into 3 pieces. Or remember that time when Foofly the dog bit through the Dreamcast joypad cable and shorted out not only the joypad but also blew out the controller port on the DC? Those times... when a metal stylus would be handy. The retractable design allows the stylus to be extended or shortened to a length that's comfortable for big and small hands alike. The minimum length is 2.95" while the maximum extension is 4.13" which should work well for just about everyone in the population. For international players on the metric system, that's a range of 75mm to 105mm. When fully extended, the stylus looks like a television antenna except on a smaller scale. There are two styluses included in the package. They're both the same except one has a black plastic pointer and thumb thing while the other is colored white on both ends. Pricing is set at US$9.50 per pack and all preorders are shipping today. New orders are welcome.
