Over thirty years ago, a mysterious force known as JAM bridged the worlds of Fairy and Earth and started an invasion of terra. Unwilling to accept domination by an invading force, humanity worked to repel JAM and eventually returned the battle to the world of Fairy. After establishing bastions and military bases on Fairy, human forces flog on for decades against JAM in skirmishes and military strikes but neither side gains a further foothold... With progress stalled and the war at a stalemate, the Earth leaders create a Special Air Force is to carry out spy missions and infiltration incursions to discover more information on JAM and perhaps a way to defeat them once and for all. A special reconnaissance plane called the Super Sylph FFR-31MR is commissioned and put into the spy business. The Super Sylph is no mere jet - it's advanced performance parameters allow it to outmaneuver other planes and destroy unfriendly flyboys with thrilling ease and speed. To pimp out the FFR-31MR even more, an artificial intelligence system almost guarantees successful data retrieval missions under extremely adverse conditions. Players take on the part of Lieutenant Fukai who handles the upgraded Super Sylph known as "Yukikaze" and fly into surgical strike missions, data retrieval runs and other high-speed action to help further the advance of the Earth forces against the JAM.
