NCS ordered a surplus of the guitars and we have a buffer quantity for new orders. Please note that orders placed today for the Guitar ASC will ship on Thursday when the remainder of our shipments arrive. Due to the large amount of orders for the Guitar, please notify NCS by today if you have a billing or address change as we will begin processing orders on Wednesday. NCS recommends only shipping by UPS Ground if you reside in the USA due to the large carton size for the Guitar ASC.

Update: January 5, 2006
Last night, Konami gave the green light for the production of the ASC Guitar for use with Guitar Freaks games. Although the final specs of the guitar are not available for perusal yet, the company's website specifies that it will be modeled closely after the guitar used in the coin-op GF machines. If previous Konami ASCs are any indication, the guitar will be another example of excellent craftsmanship and quality. Strum and jam vigorously without fear of bending the neck, busting the frets, or damaging the tuning pegs. Pricing is set at Y21,000 which is roughly US$200 but based on information from our vendor in Japan, the shipping cost per unit from Japan to the US will be approximately US$80 since each guitar will ship in its own individual cardboard container from the factory. Pricing is set at US$289 per Guitar ASC.

Due to the size and weight of each controller, we would recommend only shipping with UPS Ground to customers within the United States and USPS Airmail Parcel Post for customers outside of the USA. Please note that dimensional weight of 18 lbs applies for this product due to the size of each guitar container and any type of air service will be costly.
