Update: November 21, 2007 Please note that our USA supplier for the Wii has been raising the price for the console each day this week. Due to the price inflation, pricing is currently set at US$429 per console. Update: December 11, 2006 For everyone who's been emailing about opening up the Wii and checking out its innards, you will need a Triwing screwdriver and a Phillips screwdriver. The Wii uses a mixture of both types of screws. Be warned however that opening up the Wii is a painstaking and lengthy process. Please also be aware that some Triwing screws are hidden underneath white-colored stickers on the Wii case. Update: December 4, 2006 Japan joined the Wii revolution over the weekend and retailers promptly sold out of consoles. On the distribution side however, hundreds of Wii consoles were still available for sale at lofty valuations. As of this morning, 576 Wii units were ready for export. Since NCS knows how the pricing will pan out in about 1-2 week's time (it'll drop), we're halting all imports of Wii consoles until prices return to normal levels. Please note that the Wii follows a region lock-out scheme and Japanese import games will not play on US Wiis and vice versa.
