The beat goes on with Namco's wildly popular Taiko no Tatsujin (Drum Master) game on PS2. Boasting music selections culled from J-Pop, animation, and classical, 35 new songs are featured on the play list but 5 hidden tracks may be unlocked for a total of 40 songs. New to the game is a 4-player team battle mode where a total of 8 players may bang the drums against each other for a party game of the rhythmic sort. The apes from Sony's Piposaru games make a cameo and four new mini games feature watermelon eating, fireworks blasting, beef bowl slurping, and a comical balancing act featuring dogs who stand on each other's shoulders.
