Four new enjoyable mini-games are included in the game as follows:
1) Grab a virtual paddle and swat a feathery ball back and forth against a cat, a girl, and other opponents. Smack the ball past your opponent thrice and you move on to the next challenger. Whenever an opponent can't return your volley, a short animation shows your swatter drawing on his/her face. Baby chicks, living balloons, animals, and other beings appear in the background to watch.

2) Take control of an upright dog and chop wood logs as they are thrown onto a stump. In the middle of the screen, a big crock pot is steaming and boiling tofu, vegetables, and other bits. The wood needs to be cut to provide fuel for the fire. Small logs are chopped with a single tap of the "O" button but bigger logs require multiple hits.

3) Grill squid and flip them over as they brown. If a squid browns too much, it makes a face and is ruined. Use the L and R trigger to move between the different squids that pop up on the grill and flip them again when they're golden brown on both sides to score.

4) A love-struck lady Taiko is on the prowl and she can't contain herself when she spies a male Taiko. To escape, hit the "O" button to blast away from her. Since she's a monstrous Taiko, she'll flatten Mr. Taiko if she should catch up to him and perform a landing maneuver.

There's also mini mini-games which consist of a concentration play-alike, a melon eating contest, and other frivolous exercises.
