While not as prolific as Hori in releasing specially branded memory cards, Sony does their part by releasing a bright yellow 8M memory card dedicated to Konami's new Winning Eleven 8 game. Directly above the "Winning Eleven" banner on the face of the memory card, rabid soccer fans may read and relate to three little words "Football is Life." Along with the memory card, a standard memory card case embossed with a Winning Eleven shield is included inside the blister pack. Two yellow labels sit inside the case for proper labeling of your data. Please note: Japanese memory cards are compatible with any model of the PS2 from the USA, JPN and EUR.
