Since the tri-color PS2 spring bloom of 2003, color variants have been scarce. Aqua, Sakura and Silver were pretty colors to bring in the spring and buyers ate them up. But that was then. Sure, we were treated to a midnight blue PS2 a few months ago but since then, nada. That changes come December 5, 2003 when Sony boots two new color consoles onto the market to end the drought. The first is a Ceramic White SCPH-55000 model which includes a copy of Gran Turismo 4 Prologue and a matching joypad. Sony also plans to sell additional ceramic white joypads, memory cards and a vertical stand on December 4. Pricing is set at Y22000 for the white PS2 package and we'll post details on the separate hardware items once we have more information. Please note the new NCS Shop will charge preorders upon checkout but feel free to place your preorder for this item on our old shop, which will process preorders when the item ships in December.
