Scratched up your lens mechanism, botched a mod job or your drive isn't working as well as it used to? The problem may lie in your PS2 v1-4 drive laser which behooves you to replace it with a new unit. NCS was able to locate another batch of the v1-4 drive lasers in early August 2003 and this will be the last stock. Ever. Due to higher costs from Hong Kong suppliers because of the scarcity and rarity of the units, NCS is forced to raise pricing to US$38.00 per unit. NCS received the inventory in plastic trays containing 50 pieces per tray. They are not individually packaged for retail sale but we'll bundle them in bubblewrap and ship them to customers in sturdy boxes. Please note the drive lasers are NEW and NOT REFURBISHED which may be the case with other drive lasers being offered elsewhere.
