Description
Update: January 4, 2002
«©NCSX» Fan boys flock to annual auto shows to gawk at the latest concept cars, next year's production models, and ogle the pretty models who drape themselves over the vehicles on display. Few rabid show attendees ever get to drive a concept car. Hands off on the ladies as well. Sure you can usually sit inside a concept vehicle and imagine that you're the flavor of the day playboy with his latest toy but then reality smacks in. That is, until now.

Collecting a total of 23 prototype cars (51 cars total) and 5 tracks in which to race them, Gran Turismo Concept 2001 allows the racing aficionado to try out such vehicles as the muscular Toyota RSC, the Honda Civic Type R, Daihatsu Copen, Nissan Fairlady Z, and the snazzy Suzuki GSX-R/4. You'll also turn curious heads with the Toyota Pod, which looks like a metal ladybug complete with black and red trim.

lf412 (7): Nice followup to the GT series
When I got this game, I was really surprised at how the graphics looks. For some reason they looked crisper and sharper than GT3. To complete the entire game itself didn't take too long. But after I finished, I really wanted more. It would probably be best to think of this as part of GT3 and not an entirely independent game. There is no simulation mode and the tuning options are limited. Definitely for those people who just want to test out some crazy cars.
