NCS Game Notes
* The cinema to the game shows Daxter telling all his business to a bartender and a couple of bar patrons. Just as one of the patrons starts to get antagonistic and draws a knife, Jack bursts through the back of the bar and escorts Daxter away to seeming safety.

* Training rounds at the outset of the game teach the basics of the car and special powerups such as the blue eco for boosters or power sliding.

* After jumping off a cliff and landing on ground, its possible to drive the car on its back two wheels for perpetuity until you let go of the accelerator.

* The feel of the racing action is that of a sliding car that doesn't give much feedback on-screen. Jak's vehicle slips through the landscape and the road gives little resistance or friction. That said, the game is fairly enjoyable since the little buggy that Jak drives is versatile and can thrust to high speeds, take a lot of damage, rolls when falling off a low lying cliff, and squeals with delight when a power slide is in motion.
