«©NCSX» Athens beckons as the summer of 2004 lumbers along but Sega has other plans. While SCE laid out heavy coin for the "Official Video Game of the Olympic Games...," Sega looks to the past and collects three games: Decathlete, Winter Heat, and Virtua Athlete 2K into one bundle and reissues the games under the Sega Ages 2500 banner for PS2. Take control of 1 of 24 possible athletes and compete in 27 summer and winter events such as hammer throw, track, downhill slalom, and many others. The gameplay consists of button thumping, proper timing, and steely precision in order to succeed. Similar to all other Sega Ages 2500 games, a looseleaf liner note which offers information on the game(s) is included inside each copy of Decathlete. View the back cover and screenshots.
