«©NCSX» When spring rolls around in Japan, holidays seem to pop up in quick succession from March through May. For example, March 3 is Girl's Day or Hina Matsuri where families wish daughters a healthy and happy life by displaying Hina dolls in the house. The dolls are supposed to absorb any negative energy and are then left on a roadside or abandoned, thus transferring the bad luck to an inert object. Sakura Yuki Gekka takes place during a holiday stretch but instead of enjoying the vacation away from school, the player is stuck on barren school grounds with a five female classmates and a comely 24-year old teacher. Converse with your schoolmates, seek romance and perhaps make a positive out of a potentially negative experience. The stranded students are soon joined by a mysterious transfer student who adds a new wrinkle (in the form of a strange book) to the interaction. Limited to 20,000 copies, the limited edition of Sakura Yuki Gekka includes a serially numbered metal card packaged in a clear file, a game script in booklet form, and a variant CD silkscreen. All of the items are packaged in a fairly large but thin box which sports variant cover artwork.
