«©NCSX» 32-year old detective Saburo Jinguji tugs on his cigarette and looks sternly at the young woman who stands precariously at the threshold of his office. Situated squarely in the seedy confines of Shinjuku Kabuki-Cho, Saburo's place of business is not one where fresh-faced high school students are normally found wandering. Introducing herself as Hazuki Ninomiya, daughter of the president of Ninomiya General Hospital, she requests sleuthing services that only a master detective could provide. A recent spate of stabbings has the Shinjuku area wary and since many of those victims are brought to Ninomiya Hospital, Saburo is asked to look into it. In the midst of his investigations however, Saburo uncovers a string of murder cases that may all be linked to one killer.... Supported by a cast which includes multi-lingual assistant Yoko Misoni and local police inspector Sanzo Kumano, Saburo Jinguji's eighth assignment finds the hardboiled detective in a new adventure after three years of dormancy. Played in flick-screen interaction sequences, Saburo meets cohorts, interrogates suspects and examines locations for clues and leads. Objects may be examined and dossiers may be assembled on shifty individuals. When walking out and about in Shinjuku town, photo-realistic locales bring about a sense of "being there" as a private dick wandering the streets. View the back cover on the main NCSX website.
