When the Lord of Flies, Beelezebub, creates a storm over Prince Pixel's kingdom and overruns it with demonic malcontents, the prince decides it's time for a quest. Armed with a magical paint palette, Pixel explores the world and gathers colors and hues with which to create astounding creatures. Whereas the original Rakugaki Oukoku (Magical Pengel in the USA) was an adventure game, the sequel fits into the action genre. Draw, doodle, or scrawl a beastly creation on a digital canvas and bring it to life by way of virtual magic. An artist may draft a monster with a fish head, a bulbous body, and stalk-like legs and watch as the software fleshes it out in cel-shaded splendor.
